Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

I just learned that three movies will be released on the giant-screen format, IMAX, this year. They are Robots, Batman Begins, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
A little bit of trivia couresy of imdb.com, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is the forth film that Tim Burton and Johnny Depp have made together. The others are Edward Scissorhands (1990), Ed Wood (1994), and Sleepy Hollow (1999). They worked on the Corpse Bride (2005) together, and that is their fifth film.

Change

Over the next week or so there will be changes coming to this site. We are going from a review site to just a overall general movie blog. Reviews, complaints, upcoming movies, box office totals, etc. Anything at all as long as it deals with movies and the movie industry. Thanks.

What Is Wrong With People Today

I never thought I would see the day were a movie like The Pacifier would make $30,222,000 and become the #1 movie in America. I am seriously thinking about burning all my DVD's, but I'm sure I won't. Anyways, Cursed is down to 7th place and up to $15,296,000, making $3,882,000 over the week. Ebert and Roeper acutally gave Cursed a "No Thumbs" review, I am seeing Be Cool soon so be looking for that review.

the oscars have come and gone another year. and on that subject i will post the winners later. but for the razzies i will post the highlights. halle berry picked up one for worst actress in her role for, you guessed correctly, catwoman. catwoman picked up 4 awards this year. what a great movie. the other big winner this year was michael moores fahrenheit 9/11. it took home 4 awards including one for worst actor, pres. bush. one for worst supporting actor, def. sec. donald rumsfield. and one for worst supporting actress, britney spears (in a brief clip supporting the pres.).
