"Mean Girls"- " A Hysterical Comedy! "- US Weekly

"Mean Girls" Starring Lindsay Lohan and Tina Fey, along with other SNL Alum, was a movie I was pretty skeptical about. I like Lindsay Lohan but I'm waiting for her to breakthrough to bigger more serious roles. Lets see some rated R movies soon Ms. Lohan. This movie shows the life of a group of girls known as "The Plastics" as they go through their Junior year. Cady (Lindsay) joins them to see know what its like. I really did enjoy this movie for the cute girls, funny jokes, and many bus accidents. But for Lacey Chabert its time to quit acting so young. What are you 30 now?

Star Wars: Episodes 4-6

The ones that started all the Star Wars hoopla is finally being released on DVD for the first time ever. And it is about time. Not much to say about the movies. By now everyone should have seen at least ep. 4. Saying that I am just going to say if you buy the four disc set you will not be disappointed. The fourth disc is the bonus disc and it includes over four hours of material. As for each movie, all three have commentary that Lucas and everyone involved did a great job on. Also a nice little bonus most Star Wars fans should apreciate is that there is a preview for Star Wars: Episode III. Now just a warning Lucas did make a few small changes again. Lucas altered a key scene between the Emperor and Darth Vader in Empire Strikes Back and the ending of Return of the Jedi. Moving on from that now and on to wraping up this little story. All in all I highly recommend you add this triology to your collection. You wont be disappointed.

Detonator - Blown Away

Thats right. Blown away by some of the worst acting I have seen in a long time. Now I didnt expect much from this movie, but at least some form of professional acting. Dont expect it at all. The movie is about this guy who used to work for the FBI but was fired for whatever reason. Well now he is an inspector for the Postal Service. And apparently they get to have guns and chase people down just like cops. Well anyways it is about him helping the FBI, and Elizbeth Berkley's charecter find this guy who is blowing up the people he has a beef with. Well I fell asleep with about 30 mins. to go so I cant give the ending to it. Well I am going to be nice and give this movie a 1 and 1/2 stars out of 4. Like I said that was generous. (The movie reviewed was the 2003 version)

Still No Lance!

Well this blog is titled "Lance & Anthony's Movie Review's" and Lance still has not joined the blog. So far it has just been Anthony posting the review's with me posting my take on the review. If he dosn't sign up soon I think this blog will be renamed. What do you think? "Anthony and Kurtis' Movie Review"? Let us know.

"The Girl Next Door"- Should You Meet Her????

This is a movie for all film fans, It has a love story, comedy, action, sex, etc.. It's a movie you can watch with your girlfriend and she won't fall asleep and you will actually enjoy it too. In this film Emile Hirsch plays a ambitious high school student Matthew who falls in love with 19 year old, ex-porn star (Girl Next Door) Danielle, Elisha Cuthbert, and with the help of his friends, overcome the problems that follow. The Box Office disliked this movie but what does it know. I suggest you give this movie a try and you will not be disappointed. Movie is available in Regular and Unrated Versions.

"The Punisher"- Punishing To Watch????

Another Super Hero - Action Movie, yes it is, but it does come through for the fans. I'm not saying it compares to Spider-Man, but it's well worth the 123 mins you will be sitting in front of the T.V. Tom Jane does a good job portraying the revenge seeking Punisher, as John Travolta does and even better one as the very violent Howard Saint, and Rebecca Romijn-Stamos is good to look at too. I do recommend this movie to all even if you've never picked up a comic book in your life.

"Soul Plane"- Does it take off????

Well let me just say if Tom Arnold is one of the starring actors it's not going to be good. "Soul Plane" might of been a good movie if they changed everything about it. I will admit I did laugh a few times at some of the jokes, but that doesn't make it worth the time. I would honestly have to say "White Chicks" is a 100% better than this flop and that's not saying much. "Soul Plane" will not be landing in my movie collection any time soon.
